Eating French fries easily cause cancer

FDA published in Sweden, following the outcome of this study, examined 300 kinds of food. The results in the majority of French fries and potato chips, some bread, cocoa powder, almond, coffee, biscuits and other detected quite a high concentration of acrylamide.

However, even the same type of food, due to different manufacturers, the content of acrylamide varies widely. For example, the fact that a family of French fries in the fast-food chain, the concentration of acrylamide is much higher than other stores. Acrylamide in the cooking process of starchy foods generated, the longer the cooking or the higher the temperature, the easier it generate acrylamide.

FDA has not yet decided how to deal with the issue of acrylamide in 2003 to resolve this issue as the first of about 300 kinds of food to investigate, collect information, to raise the industry and is issuing an advisory to consumers.
